Updates to Non-MAGI Medicaid and Medicare Savings Program Eligibility Guidelines - 2023

As we mentioned in a previous blog post (see blog details here), the non-MAGI Medicaid income/resource limits, as well as the income limits for Medicare Savings Program (MSP), increased, effective January 1, 2023. On January 19^th, the Health and Human Services released the official poverty levels for 2023, however, NYS has not yet adopted them. What this means is that applications submitted will be processed using 2022 FPLs for the time being. Once NYS adopts the 2023 FPLs, the income and resource limits will be adjusted accordingly.
