Working Family with Out-of-Pocket Expenses

Families that incur unreimbursed child care/dependent care costs have a gross income test of 200% FPL, instead of 130% FPL.

This rule applies to households with earned income, as well as to those households that have dependent care costs because they are looking for work, have accepted a job, are attending employment training programs or pursuing education that is preparatory to employment.
