Enter the shelter expenses the household actually pays. If Cash Assistance is paying directly to the landlord, enter this amount on the line, plus any additional monies the household is paying out of their own pocket.

Note: Do not include the portion that is paid by government subsidies, such as Section 8, SCRIE, DRIE, FEPS supplement or any of the Advantage Program supplements, third parties, or individual(s) living in the same unit who are not part of the food stamp household, for example, roommates.
